Future Africa Leaders Award nominee, Neema Nkayamba has given hope to both teenagers and youth in various communities in Tanzania. She embarked on a life-transforming project for teenagers and youth in the inner cities; clothes and social amenities were given out. The project was also aimed at developing the self-esteem of these youth and teenagers, realizing their potentials and building their portfolio. She also taught the teenagers and youth on the importance of good health and wellness and how to stay free from illness, maintaining a good physical condition and make wise health decision. Hygiene kits, such as toiletries, were made available to them.

As a result of this project, the teenagers and youth have learnt how to get along with others and develop moral strength and integrity, as they were taught entrepreneurial skills in agriculture, fish farming, poetry farming, tailoring, welding, small factories and catering. 15 youth in various communities in Tanzania were granted loans to start up their own businesses and create a means of livelihood for themselves.
