FALF Easthern Africa region Reports | Future Africa Leaders Foundation

On the 4th of June, 2016, Sharon Isiagi, A Fal Ambassador held a medical outreach in our local community.

She partnered with USAID, Naguru Teenage Centre, UK AID, UHMG  Uganda Heath Marketing Group), Zoe Medical center and St. Stephen's Medical center, and Red Cross Society, Uganda.

With all these partners she managed to offer a number of services and these are: Cervical cancer immunization for females under 13 years, cervical cancer screening, antenatal and postnatal services, deworming,  general body check up, blood pressure, HIV/AIDS testing and counselling, family planning services and reproductive health education, pregnancy testing, Tetanus Toxoid (TT) vaccination, Malaria screening and treatment, and we also gave the children below three year  vitamin A drugs.

They took advantage of the overwhelming number of people that flooded the area to preach the gospel. They led them to Christ in their numbers and also laid hands on them one on one. There were over 2,500 people who came for the services and we made sure that we got to as many as we could to give their lives to Christ.

Even before They could start the medical outreach, because of our presence in the area, reports of testimonies from the neighborhoods were being given. One lady testified that her children had received healing after praying for them.

They  also gave out ministry materials to the members who came to receive the medical services, especially the rhapsody of realities: for adults, teenagers and also early readers.

They also gave out Now that you are born again for kids and for teenagers to the teens and children who game their lives to Christ.

Furthermore, They gave the children snacks and drinks and engaged them in some fun activities like dancing, singing, and spelling bee.

In addition to this They gave out clothes too, to the community locals.

It was truly a great day! And I would like to take this great opportunity and honor to thank our Man of God Pastor Chris for believing in us, the younger generation and this great privilege and blessing  give other people’s lives a meaning, thank you so much, Sir.
