About Leadership Initiative Award

The Leadership Initiative Award is an award by the Future Africa Leaders Foundation to members of the Leadership Initiative Network. The LIA is given to young African leaders between the ages of 16 – 29 and are impacting their societies positively. Through the Leadership Initiative Awards, we recognize young, vibrant leaders who are addressing issues and providing solutions in the sectors of the Future Africa Leaders Foundation, such as Technology, Education, Youth Empowerment, Advocacy, Agriculture, Humanitarian, and Entrepreneurship. In setting up this award system, we encourage the efforts of these young leaders to take up more responsibilities and carry out impactful projects as they build the future of Africa.
